PROJECTS
Designed and manufactured five custom large oak panels and ensured that the panels were shipped on time and exceeded the customer's requirements
Networked with engineers from other machine shops on how to implement an improved post processor for the Morbidelli CNC Routers
Modified existing post processor code to work with the machines
Transitioned from Maestro and Aspan to Fusion 360
Trained new apprentices on how to use CAM on Fusion360 to code the machines
Created multiple variations of designs, prototypes, and costs to show to client. This enabled the client to decide on a final design
Worked with the Head CNC Machinist to figure out the most efficient design to meet the clients requirements
Created the drawings for the parts and graphics on Solidworks
I setup the laser production process for the acrylic
In the first design, I over-engineered the platform supports and was not efficient for production. I asked for advice from the CNC Machinist and we decided on using shelf pins. Ultimately, it was a much easier design to CNC and assemble
Generated the Bill of Materials with part quantities, suppliers, and costs
Overall, the project was low cost and had a high return
The customer was impressed with the quality of work and asked for a single sided version as well
Worked with the Head CNC Machinist to figure out the most efficient design to meet the clients requirements
Created drawings for the parts and graphics on Solidworks
Figured out the details with the supplier for the metal rack
Generated the Bill of Materials with part quantities, suppliers, and costs
Overall, the project was low cost and had a high return
Operated large trucks and trailers for transporting the companies race car and motorcycles
Engineered the Box and created production drawings
Laser Engraved the logo
Created and operated a laser program for manufacturing Custom Jar Lids
Worked with the General Manager on marketing the boat and selling it
Assisted in operating the boat in rough weather on Lake Michigan while showing it to buyers
Sold the boat for a good amount
